Steven W. Pearce is an award-winning sustainability expert and global development professional with over 13 years of experience advising governments, corporations, and international organizations. As the Founder and CEO of Pearce Sustainability Consulting Group (PSCG), Steven leads a globally recognized firm specializing in ESG planning and reporting, climate risk assessment, and sustainable business strategies. PSCG has been honored as the Best Sustainability Consulting Firm in California and the Best SDG Impact Measurement and ESG Reporting Company in America.

Steven is a published author and recognized thought leader in sustainability and global strategy. He has written over 187 articles on ESG, climate change, global development, national security, circular economy, and impact measurement. He is the author of several books, including "From Warming to Warfare: Climate Change and the Road to World War III" and the upcoming "Make Green by Going Green: The Executive's Guide to Profitability Through Sustainability."

He holds prestigious titles including Sustainability Ambassador for SPCS, Global Ambassador of Sustainability for the Global Sustainability Futures Progress Through Partnerships Network (GSFN), and Enterprise Global Chair for ESG, Global Development, and GHG Reduction Planning for SDG 13.

PSCG previously partnered with USAID and is a registered vendor with 22 United Nations agencies. The firm holds a unique position as the only ESG firm globally registered in the ACQ Westfields ARC—the Acquisition Research Center utilized by the U.S. Intelligence Community and Department of Defense. Steven is the architect of the PSI Platform (Predictive Sustainability Intelligence), designed to help governments and corporations anticipate ESG risk and align with international standards such as the CSRD, SFDR, TCFD, and SDG targets.

Steven has subcontracted with the Department of Defense (DoD), U.S. Military, and General Services Administration (GSA) to implement ESG initiatives and climate risk strategies. He has also led ESG and sustainability programs for 2,200 hospitals across the United States.

Steven holds a Bachelor of Integrated Studies in Sociology, Anthropology, and Political Science from Weber State University, graduating with General, Departmental, and University Honors. He holds an MBA in Sustainability Management and a Master of Project Management, with executive certifications from Harvard University, the Wharton School, Duke University, and MIT. He is currently advancing his work through the Graduate Program in Global Development Practice at Harvard University.
