Soumeya Rachedi

Soumeya Rachedi advises Ecoheart on global humanitarian resilience and smart city strategy. A trained lawyer who pivoted into humanitarian and climate work, she specializes in immigrant displacement, smart cities (especially in Africa), and resilience research. Based in Paris with roots in Algiers, she maintains extensive connections across Sudan, Saudi Arabia, and throughout Europe.

Soumeya is the founder and CEO of NXT Evolution, a consultancy focused on building partnerships among corporations, international organizations, and ecosystem enablers to foster innovation and creativity. She also founded Ishtar, a London-based advisory firm focused on building communities and developing ecosystems as a service.

Before specializing in entrepreneurial ecosystem building, Soumeya qualified as a lawyer at the Paris Bar, working with high-level law firms in the United Kingdom, France, Belgium, India, and Algeria. She counselled governments, international organizations, multinationals, and small businesses, specializing in International Arbitration, Merger Control, and Competition Law.

Soumeya speaks five languages and is committed to facilitating the emergence and growth of resilient entrepreneurial ecosystems, focusing mainly on Africa and the MENA region. Her global network includes connections to the Conscious Food System Alliance, drought mitigation groups, and key partners in Bhutan. At Ecoheart, she helps ensure our platform accounts for the needs of diverse communities worldwide, particularly those facing displacement and humanitarian challenges.
